Girl Gang is a Leeds based collective that strive to inspire young creative girls to collaborate and socialise in order to grow as practitioners or just to make friends.
They offer events like "Speed-mating" in order for girls to socialise and make connections. I plan on attending these when I finish university in order to make connections and hopefully grow as a practitioner.
They also offer opportunities to design the posters for their events, Which I want to have a go at because I enjoy designing posters and feel like this would be a great way for me to branch out and become a practitioner who can do relatively anything. I feel like these opportunities would be great for my confidence as a practitioner too, and would help me combine my growth as a practitioner as well as my own personal growth.
