I have discovered quite a few animators and inspiration through the late night work club, and I like what they stand for. I plan on having a part - time job when I leave uni in order to pay for bills, and animate and illustrate in my spare time, which is what a lot of people involved with this company do. This shows me that it is doable and there is no excuse for me not to pursue a career after university.
Nina gantz has been an inspiration of mine for a while. I like how she creates an atmosphere in her animations, as well as the stop motion media she uses.
because of my mums job, she meets various people. She has met a few people from Factory and I have been in contact with them through my mum, which is frustrating because I wish I'd pursued them on my own. I hope to play aroudn with model making as I enjoyed doing that in first year.
I like how netflix is branching out a producing quirky animated entertainment at the moment. they seem to be taking on anything at the moment, like pacific heat, which is a clear rip off of archer.
I plan to go to annecy 2018, however money is sparse. I had a great time last year, but I struggled money wise.
I want to branch out and develop my illustrative skills further, as well as create a voice for myself using online internet platforms such as WIX, instagram and twitter.
Overall, I want to make a name for myself and become confident.
